Calling all ghouls! The new Monster High Fang Vote doll – Jinafire Long – is here!
This year’s Fang Vote doll, the daughter of the Chinese Dragon, returns in the Year of the Dragon, with a gown reflecting her unique “scaritage.” Jinafire is designed by Annalise Lao who pictured her rising out of the water on a moonlit night, ascending towards the sky, ready to celebrate her special year. The first layer of Jinafire’s look begins with a layer of gold fishnet tights adding a shimmery touch to her design. The next layer is a fitted column dress, the bodice a double layer of satin and mesh, while the fully lined dress skirt is a custom metallic design that blends sky, water, and fire elements seamlessly. The third layer is a magnificent overskirt that replicates the effect of water falling off the dress as Jinafire rises out of the sea. Five layers of gathered ruffles create a beautiful, ethereal effect. The final flourish to the dress is two elaborate metalwork-inspired pieces that infuse the weather-based origins of a Chinese Dragon. Two symmetrical clouds frame her dress with raindrops suspended midmotion as she glides up towards the sky.
Fans were able to complete the rest of Jinafire’s design by casting their vote through the Fang Club Forum online. In round one, fans chose the details that made up the final look by selecting the hairstyle, headpiece, makeup concept, and jewelry. In round two of voting, fans selected the shoes, handbag, and finished the design with the doll stand. The final doll arrives in gorgeous packaging that evokes her rising from the sea and pausing before a celestial moon gate.

The Rochelle doll features a sheer ruffle gown that shimmers under the moonlight and a rot-iron cage dress inspired by the view of the Eiffel Terror. Her heels reflect the beauty of the arched, stained-glass windows of the Ogre Dame Cathedral which serves as the inspiration for her look and design.
